Workforce shortage in regional Australia

We caught a great article in The Land newspaper highlighting the opportunities for work in regional Australia. The guest piece written by Jack Archer the CEO of the Regional Australia Institute highlights the growing demand for workers of all skills in regional Australia.

It's particularly worth noting that since 2016 the demand for machinery operators has grown 44% and technicians and trades 35%. Along with 20 and 23% respectively for managers and professionals. All roads lead to the country!

Who knows what skills the Agriculture sector and broader rural industries will need in the future.

If we think there is a skills shortage now, wait until people are trying to hire a drone pilot out the back of Goondawindi! Thats why Farmfolk is dedicated to supporting the next generation of ag talent to get skilled up and prepared to earn a livelihood in an uncertain future.
